Anna Baldwin is a Clinical Pharmacist and Certified diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She assists with education and medical management of patients with preexisting and gestational diabetes. She works directly with the physicians, MFM care team, patients and their families to ensure the best possible pregnancy outcomes.
Anna is a native Mississippian. She completed her prerequisite courses for pharmacy school at Mississippi State University, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and magna cum laude with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Anna completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with an emphasis in ambulatory care at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has achieved certification as a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), a Certified diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) and as a Chronic Care Professional (CCP).
Anna has an array of experience including roles as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in diabetes at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in abdominal transplant at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, as the Metabolic Health Management Coordinator and Manager of Clinical Population Health at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi, and as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in diabetes at Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine.
Anna is married to Ronald Baldwin, and they have three daughters. In her spare time, Anna enjoys serving as a volunteer for a variety of organizations, listening to live music, and attending Mississippi State University sporting events.
