Cindy Bean, MD

Maternal Fetal Medicine

Dr. Bean is a native of Cincinnati, OH. She moved south for undergraduate school, where she graduated summa cum laude from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Upon graduation, she completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then worked as an OBGYN attending for four years and later completed a three-year fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Bean is double-board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Bean is an expert in fetal ultrasonography. Her clinical interests include the specialized care of pregnant women with complicated medical and fetal disorders to provide the best maternal and fetal outcome.

Dr. Bean enjoys exercising and spending time with her husband, Christopher, and her two children, Isabella and Hayes.
